If fall in Flagler County isn't complete without a hayride, a corn maze and a pumpkin you picked yourself, you're in luck. Five farms within about an hour of Palm Coast are open right now for 2026. It's October 16 as I write this, so some of them have only a weekend or two left. Here's what each one has posted on its own official page, so you can plan before you drive.

Quick note: farm schedules and prices can change with weather, so I always suggest checking the farm's website or calling the morning you go. Everything below comes from the farms' and the county tourism office's current 2026 listings.

Cowart Ranch & Farms Maze Days Fall Festival: Bunnell

This is the closest one to home, about 20 minutes from most of Palm Coast, and it's celebrating its 16th year. The farm's own page shows it open Saturdays and Sundays from October 10 through November 8, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The last tickets are sold an hour before closing, so don't roll in at 6:45.

  • Where: Cowart Ranch & Farms, 8185 W. Highway 100, Bunnell
  • Admission: $15 per person ($14 for seniors, military and first responders with ID); ages 2 and under are free
  • Included: a walk-through corn maze (plan on 30 to 60 minutes), a hayride out to see the cattle herd, farm animals to pet, a pumpkin patch with sunflowers where you can pick a carving or eating pumpkin, a burlap-sack slide, a corn pit, a mini maze, a giant bounce pad and cornhole
  • Extras: a tractor train for little ones (first ride free, then $5), the corn cannon (first shot free, then $2), pony rides ($8, or 2 for $15) and a mechanical bucking bull ($5 a ride or $10 for three)

Because it's open every day through Halloween weekend, this is the easiest one to fit into a busy schedule.

Harvest Fields Corn Maze & Hayrides: DeLand

About 45 minutes from Palm Coast, Harvest Fields is a working farm with a big corn maze. This one is wrapping up soon. The daytime corn maze and hayride runs weekends only, October 3 to 25, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. That leaves one weekend, October 24 and 25.

  • Where: 3000 N. Spring Garden Ave., DeLand
  • Admission: $15 per person, including the corn maze, hayride and activities. Tickets expire after October 25.
  • Fields of Fright haunted hayride: Friday and Saturday nights, October 9 to 24, 7 to 11 p.m. It's $25 per person and includes two haunted houses and the haunted corn maze. The farm recommends it for ages 10 and up.

Good to know: unused tickets are nonrefundable, gem mining is sold separately, and the farm says cash is preferred at the gate (cards are accepted for pumpkins and online tickets).

Sykes Family Farms: Elkton

It's about 45 minutes north, in Elkton southwest of St. Augustine, and it's the one with the longest season. The farm's 2026 schedule runs October 3 through November 1:

  • Fridays: 6 to 10 p.m. (last entry 9 p.m.)
  • Saturdays: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (last entry 9 p.m.)
  • Sundays: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (last entry 4 p.m.)

General admission is $16.99 for ages 3 and up, $14.99 for seniors (65+) and military with ID, and free for ages 2 and under, plus taxes and fees. That covers the 9-acre corn maze, the kiddie cow train and hayrides, axe throwing, bounce pads, tube slides, a sand box, a bubble barn, glow pumpkin blasters, hay jumps, duck races, faux cow milking and a gaga ball pit. U-pick flowers are $2 a stem, and pumpkins, face painting and food cost extra. The food barn is cash only, though there's an ATM on site. The farm is at 5995 Brough Road in Elkton.

County Line Family Farms Fall Festival: Ormond Beach

About 35 minutes south, County Line is a 20-acre working farm at 77 Circle S Road. Its 2026 fall festival runs September 26 through October 25, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Fridays are school field trips only). The last tickets are sold an hour before closing.

  • Admission: $15 general, $13 for seniors and military with ID, free for ages 2 and under (before sales tax). Pony rides and U-pick sunflowers and pumpkins cost extra, and the farm lists pony rides at $5 and sunflowers at $2 a stem.
  • What's there: a corn maze plus a smaller kiddie maze (kids under 16 need an adult in the big maze), an accessible hay wagon, a petting zoo, activities for young children, and food trucks, lemonade and more
  • House rules: no pets, no smoking in the maze, and it's an alcohol-free event. Wear shoes made for walking on a farm.

Wesley Wells Farms Pumpkin Patch: St. Augustine

If you want the classic pick-it-off-the-vine experience, Wesley Wells Farms on Ada Arnold Road in St. Augustine opens its pumpkin patch every Saturday in October, starting October 3, from 9 a.m. to noon. Admission is $15 online or $18 at the gate for ages 2 and up, and the last entry is 11 a.m. Take a hayride, visit the animals and head into the field to find your pumpkin right where it grew. It's about 45 minutes north of Palm Coast.

Which one should you pick?

  • Want the closest option, or a weekday? Cowart Ranch in Bunnell is open every day through November 1.
  • Want a haunted hayride for older kids and adults? Harvest Fields' Fields of Fright runs through October 24.
  • Want a longer outing with lots to do? Sykes Family Farms has the most attractions and the longest evening hours.
  • Want a smaller, easy-to-walk farm visit? County Line in Ormond Beach has one weekend left, October 24 and 25.

If you're making a whole Halloween week of it, my guide to Palm Coast's top trick-or-treat spots is already updated for this year too.

Tips for a smoother farm day

  • Bring cash. Several of these farms prefer it for food and extras.
  • Go earlier in the day on weekends. Lines build in the afternoon.
  • Wear closed-toe shoes and bring sunscreen and bug spray. October in Florida still feels like summer some afternoons.
  • Check the weather. Heavy rain can close mazes or change hours.
