Halloween in Palm Coast and Flagler Beach is a block-by-block kind of holiday, and every year I get the same question: where should we go? This is my refreshed 2026 guide. I kept the neighborhood tradition I wrote about last year, but I rechecked every event against official local listings, and I only list dates, times and prices that I could confirm for this year. Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, which makes planning easy.
Confirmed 2026 trunk-or-treats and Halloween events
According to the Flagler County tourism office's Halloween listings, these are the organized options on the calendar right now. Times and places can change, so double-check with the host before you go.
- Friday, October 23, 6 to 8 p.m.: Trunk or Treat from Adventure Avenue and Adventure Avenue Academy at 515 Palm Coast Parkway SW. Free.
- Monday, October 26, 5 to 6:30 p.m.: Trick-or-treating at Redefined Food Co., on the outside patio at the Southern Rec Center, 1290 Belle Terre Parkway. Free.
- Thursday, October 29, 4 to 6 p.m.: The Cabin in the Woods haunted cabin at the G.W. Carver Community Center, 201 E. Drain Street in Bunnell. Free, and recommended for ages 11 and up.
- Friday, October 30, 5 to 7 p.m.: City of Flagler Beach Trunk or Treat at Wickline Park. Free.
- Saturday, October 31, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Lil Monster Mash at the Florida Agricultural Legacy Learning Center. $5 per person, free for ages 3 and under.
The Palm Coast Hall of Terror
If your crew likes a real scare, the Palm Coast Fire Department's Hall of Terror is back this year with a Universal Monsters theme. The city lists it for Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31, from 7 to 10 p.m. both nights, at Palm Coast Fire Station 21, 9 Corporate Drive. The county tourism listing shows it as free. It is meant to be spooky, so use your own judgment for little ones.
Sugar Mill Plantation: the big one, with a caveat
Sugar Mill Plantation, off Old Kings Road South in Flagler Beach, has long been the area's go-to Halloween neighborhood, with closed streets and crowds in the thousands. The Palm Coast Observer reported that the community had to cancel its tradition in 2024 because of hurricane debris and damage. I could not find any 2026 announcement either way, so please check with the neighborhood before you plan your whole night around it. If you do go, arrive early for parking and bring a wagon for tired little ghouls.
The neighborhoods locals walk every year
These are informal traditions rather than organized events, so there is no official schedule. They are based on what neighbors tell me, not on a posted 2026 calendar.
Flagler Beach bridge streets
Lantana, Avalon and Palmetto, just over the bridge in Flagler Beach, are known for porch decorations and neighbors chatting out front. Pair it with the Wickline Park trunk-or-treat on Friday the 30th and you have a full weekend. Want to see more of the town? Take a look at my Flagler Beach neighborhood guide.
The C Section of Palm Coast
The C Section's winding canal streets, including the courts that start with C such as Cotton, Christopher, Cherokee and Clearview, have a block-party feel on Halloween night. Many homes go all out with props and full-size treats. The canals also make a great backdrop for costume photos.
The B Section off Belleaire
The B Section is a calmer route with well-lit streets and a manageable flow of trick-or-treaters, which suits a shorter, slower walk.
Indian Trails and Matanzas Woods
Both are quieter residential areas that locals mention for easy walking and fewer crowds.
Tips for a smoother Halloween night
- Pick one or two areas and park once. Walking beats driving between streets.
- Bring flashlights or glow sticks and wear light or reflective clothing.
- Drive slowly through any neighborhood after dusk.
- Check the weather and the host's page the day of the event.
- Leave your porch light on if you are handing out candy, and off if you are not.
If you are thinking about calling Palm Coast home
Nights like this are a great way to see how a neighborhood feels in person. Walk the streets, notice the lighting, the sidewalks, how neighbors greet each other, and picture yourself living there. If it sparks a move in your plans, my moving to Palm Coast guide walks through the basics.
Frequently Asked Questions
When is trick-or-treating in Palm Coast in 2026?
Halloween is Saturday, October 31. Palm Coast does not set an official city-wide trick-or-treat time, so most neighborhoods go roughly from dusk into the early evening. Organized trunk-or-treats are on the dates above.
Is there a free trunk-or-treat in Flagler Beach?
Yes. The City of Flagler Beach lists a free Trunk or Treat at Wickline Park on Friday, October 30, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Is the Hall of Terror free?
The Flagler County tourism listing shows it as free, with shows Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31 from 7 to 10 p.m. at Fire Station 21. Because it is a scare event, check the city page for any age guidance.
