First Friday in Flagler Beach
Start your month with the best party in town! First Friday fills Veterans Park with live music, art vendors, classic cars, delicious food, and tons of activities for families and kids. It’s the go-to community event and a must for locals and newcomers alike. Festivities run from 6–9pm, and parking is free in city lots. Bring a chair or blanket, and plan a stroll along the boardwalk for the ultimate Flagler night.

All October, creative scarecrows pop up on lampposts, storefronts, and porches in downtown Flagler Beach. Take a wander, snap some photos, and vote for your favorite—this colorful, quirky art display is perfect for families and totally free. Happening daily Oct 1–Nov 1.

Pink Army 5K & Fun Walk (Oct 5, Palm Coast Community Center)
Show your support for breast cancer awareness at this community 5K! Walk, run, or bring your pet for the 1-mile Fun Walk. Registration starts at 7:45am and funds go to local prevention programs. All finishers get medals, and there’s a youth run plus prizes for the best dressed!

Creekside Music & Arts Festival (Oct 4–5, Princess Place)
Soak up live bands, artisan crafts, historic hay rides, and festival food under the beautiful old oaks at Princess Place Preserve. There’s plenty for kids and adults—don’t forget some cash for the vendor booths and parking on site.

Food Truck Tuesday (Oct 21, Central Park)

Ready to get scared? For two nights only, Palm Coast Fire HQ becomes the county’s most haunted house. This free event features costumed actors, spooky props, and professional effects—a true local scream-fest perfect for teens and brave adults! Runs 7–10pm both nights.

Craft beer fans—this one’s for you! Taptoberfest brings two days of specialty brews, games, live music, and German-inspired plates to The Brass Tap in Palm Coast. 21+ after 8pm. Costumes encouraged!
